Buckeye Leaf

I have taken only very few pictures with my iPhone camera yet, so I'm still not sure of its capabilities. However the best camera is the one that you have, and I'm going to have it a lot :) 

This buckeye leaf was lying on the deck outside the shop today.

This is what I had for breakfast this morning. Locally grown cantaloupe and blueberries, with a generous splash of peach schnapps. Delicious!

New Baby

Less than 24 hours old when this picture was taken, we found this kitten in the barn yesterday. She's really tiny, but she's eating well, so we hope she will do well.

I took my new lens for a short walk around town. It makes me really happy - no longer do I feel I'm struggling against my equipment, now it's there to help me. More sweetcorn shots here.

The UPS Man Cometh...

...and he brought my new walkabout lens - a AF-S Zoom-Nikkor ED 17-55mm f/2.8G IF DX. Cant wait to try it out!

No, it's actually a worm house. The critters take much of our kitchen waste and turn it into a rich and highly nutritious compost.
